What is SIC?

Established in 2004, SSEAYP International Cambodia (SIC) is the official alumni association of Cambodian Participating Youths joining the Ship for Southeast Asian and Japanese Youth Program (SSEAYP), aiming to encourage and promote youth participation in international and local programs as well as social activities in order to promote peace, friendship, mutual understanding, and leadership.

Our aim:

To be the umbrella that fosters and strengthens friendship and collaboration between former Cambodian Participating Youths
To arrange and facilitate Pre-Departure Training (PDT) for newly selected CPYs so that they are fully equipped to participate in the program successfully
To gather and galvanize potential youth involvement in social projects and to encourage their initiatives in creating social contribution activities
To contribute fully to realizing the purpose of SSEAYP
